At least 18 killed, 19 hurt as bus collides with tanker in UP's Unnao

Police reported that at least 18 individuals lost their lives and 19 sustained injuries in a tragic incident on Wednesday, when a bus collided with a tanker on the Agra-Lucknow Expressway in an Uttar Pradesh district. The accident occurred in the morning near Jojikot village in the Bangarmau area. Bangarmau Circle Officer Arvind Kumar confirmed that the collision between the double-decker bus and the tanker resulted in the fatalities and injuries.

Fate of documented Afghan refugees to be decided today

ISLAMABAD: The federal cabinet will meet today (Wednesday) to decide the fate of Afghan refugees residing in the country, as Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif complained to the United Nations High Commission for Refugees (UNHCR) that only 9,000 out of 70,000 Afghans — who had worked for the US and allies — had been sent to a third country over the three years.
