Why cats meow at humans more than each other

This is a story that goes back thousands of years.

Originally, cats were solitary creatures. This means they preferred to live and hunt alone, rather than in groups. Most of their social behaviour was restricted to mother-kitten interactions. Outside of this relationship, cats rarely meow at each other.

In historic first, Lahore High Court swears in woman Chief Justice

Justice Aalia Neelum on Thursday took oath as the Chief Justice of the Lahore High Court (LHC) of Pakistan, making her the first woman to be elevated as the court's top judge. Qatar Airways continues its expansion in Africa, with extra flights to Uganda

Qatar’s national flag carrier, Qatar Airways, has announced a further expansion in its services to and from Africa. It will be adding three more flights a week to the route between its hub, Doha, and the Ugandan capital of Entebbe, to cope with northern summer demand.
