Ogun workers threaten strike over N40bn pension

The organised labour unions in Ogun State on Tuesday threatened industrial action over the failure of the government to remit over N40bn contributory pensions deducted from the workers’ salaries in the last 15 years. Yubi Group revamps top deck, goes on a hiring spree

Yubi Group, formerly CredAvenue, is hiring extensively and promoting leaders. Bharat Krishnamurthy is now CTO of Yubi and Aspero. Other promotions include Ramesh Ramanathan as deputy CFO, Amitesh Bhattacharya as group general counsel, and Vinod Deiveegan as chief business officer of Corpository. Over 90 campus hires joined this quarter, and 2.2 million shares were added to the employee stock option plan.

Bajaj Auto Q1 Results: Cons PAT jumps 18% YoY to Rs 1,942 crore, revenue rises 16%

​​Consolidated revenue from operations for the quarter stood at Rs 11,932 crore, reflecting a 16% rise compared to Rs 10,312 crore in the corresponding quarter of the previous financial year. Sequentially, the profit after tax (PAT) for the reported quarter was down 3.4% against Rs 2,011 crore reported in the January-March quarter.
