Man fatally shot in Brooklyn: NYPD

BED-STUY, Brooklyn (PIX11) -- A man is dead after being shot in the chest Monday in Brooklyn, according to police. Police said the 27-year-old man was shot near 306 Franklin Ave. around 8 p.m. The victim was taken to the hospital, where he was pronounced dead. Additional information was not immediately available.
