Karnataka citizens lost around Rs 600 crore in 4 years to scams; Check how much was recovered

Between January 2020 and July 10, 2024, job scams, fraudulent loan applications, and deceptive schemes using the names of foreign firms have caused victims in Karnataka to lose over Rs 598 crore across 9,591 cases. Law enforcement has managed to recover only Rs 74 crore and make 208 arrests, revealing significant challenges in addressing these crimes.
