Fernando replaces injured Chameera for India series

Asitha Fernando replaced the injured Dushmantha Chameera for Sri Lanka's upcoming series against India, starting July 27. Chameera is recovering from bronchitis. New head coaches Sanath Jayasuriya and Gautam Gambhir will lead Sri Lanka and India respectively. The series includes T20Is and ODIs. India's last tour to Sri Lanka was in 2021.

CrowdStrike, a cybersecurity firm, apologized for a faulty update that crashed 8.5 million computers globally, offering a $10 Uber Eats gift card to affected users. The update, intended to improve threat detection, caused widespread disruptions in aviation and healthcare sectors. Some users reported issues redeeming the gift card. CrowdStrike reverted the defective update the same day.
