Agri Stack to cover six crore farmers by end of the year

Agri Stack is a database of Indian farmers, which contains their details like landholding, GPS coordinates of plots and the crops grown on them. As per an official in the agriculture ministry, this will cover 60 million farmers by the end of this fiscal year. Farmers will receive a unique ID through this.

Cred to help customers track bank accounts

Kunal Shah-led Cred is unveiling a new service called Cred Money to help customers manage their bank accounts. With Cred Money, users can track usage over multiple bank accounts and understand their spending patterns. They can also use Cred's in-built UPI offering to make payments. Shah told ET that Cred will work with RBI-licensed account aggregators to offer the services on Cred Money.

LTCG tax parity may bring more family offices to the startupland

The budget proposal to bring parity on long-term capital gains (LTCG) tax across all financial assets and abolish the angel tax will lead to more family offices investing in startups. These entities have increased their activity in startups over the past year. As per a PwC report, there were 45 family offices in 2018, which have zoomed to 300 now.

Budget does not singe ITC with tax hike, shares top Rs 500-mark

After the budget, global brokerage Jefferies upgraded the stock from hold to buy and raised the target price to ₹585 from ₹435, citing ITC's clear advantage. The stock, which surged 17% in the past month compared to a 3.6% gain in the Sensex, ended at ₹494 on Wednesday, up 0.4%.
