Lakshya beats Carraggi after 'deletion' of opening win

Indian badminton star Lakshya Sen secured his first Paris Olympics men's singles victory, defeating Belgium's Julien Carraggi 21-19, 21-14 in 43 minutes. Sen's initial win against Kevin Cordon was voided due to Cordon's withdrawal. Sen now faces Asian champion Jonatan Christie in his final group match on Wednesday, which will decide who advances to the pre-quarters. Despite trailing initially against Carraggi, Sen rallied to win, focusing on retrieving shots and attacking opportunities. Sen remains focused on his next opponent.
