A retired DHBVN employee, Vijay Kumar Mehta, residing in Sector 9, Gurgaon, received threatening calls and voice messages from an unknown person who demanded Rs 50 lakh. On July 25, Mehta first ignored the call but later received a WhatsApp voice message where the caller threatened to kill him and his family if the demand wasn't met.
