Carlos Alcaraz crushes Felix Auger-Aliassime to reach final at Paris Olympics

Carlos Alcaraz became the youngest man to reach the Olympic Games men's tennis final on Friday when he thrashed Felix Auger-Aliassime. Alcaraz, 21, swept to a 6-1, 6-1 victory over the Canadian in just 75 minutes and will meet Novak Djokovic in Sunday's final if the top-seeded Serb overcomes a knee injury and Italy's Lorenzo Musetti in the second semi-final.

Grains mostly lower, livestock lower

CHICAGO (AP) _ Grain futures were mostly lower in early trading Friday on the Chicago Board of Trade. Sept. corn rose by 1 cents at $3.83 a bushel. Sept. wheat was unchanged at $5.32 a bushel. Sept. oats lost 1.75 cents at $3.21 a bushel. Sept. soybeans was down 0.75 cent at $10.08 a bushel.

Moscow Swaps American Journalists, Top Dissidents For Convicted Criminals

U.S. citizens Evan Gershkovich, Paul Whelan, and Alsu Kurmasheva arrived in the United States on August 1 as part of a historic prisoner swap. Moscow also released top Russian dissidents in exchange for convicted criminals, including former Russian FSB officer Vadim Krasikov, who was serving a life sentence in Germany for murder.
