Hearts of Oak denies resignation of Managing Director

Ghanaian giant, Hearts of Oak has denied claims that its Managing Director Dr Delali Anku-Adiamah has resigned. A press release from the club said the Managing Director has only travelled out of the country to address some pressing family issues in the United Kingdom.

Jammu and Kashmir Assembly elections: Congress announces candidates for nine seats

The Congress announced nine candidates for the Jammu and Kashmir Assembly elections, including Ghulam Ahmad Mir, Vikar Rasool Wani, and Sheikh Riaz. The party will contest in 32 seats as part of a seat-sharing agreement with the NC, who will contest in 51 seats. The elections will be held in three phases starting on September 18, with counting scheduled for October 4.
