Railway Board approves re-engagement of retired railway officers as consultants

The Railway Board has approved the re-engagement of retired Railway officers as consultants to fill vacant posts up to December 31, 2026. This policy aims to address the shortage of Gazetted Officers across Zonal Railways. The re-engaged officers will receive a fixed monthly remuneration and will not be entitled to HRA or residential accommodation.
