Brigade Enterprises launches QIP issue to raise funds up to Rs 1,500 cr

Bengaluru-based Brigade Enterprises plans to raise up to Rs 1,500 crore by selling equity shares to institutional investors as part of its strategy to expand business. The company on September 2 launched its Qualified Institutional Placement (QIP) issue to raise funds. In a regulatory filing late on Monday, Brigade Enterprises informed that a committee of directors authorised the opening of the QIP Issue on Monday. Families of criminals should not be punished for their crimes: Mayawati

BSP president Mayawati praised the Supreme Court's stance that families should not be punished for the crimes of their kin, urging legal action against criminals instead. HAL gains on bagging Rs 26,000-cr order for 240 aero-engines

Hindustan Aeronautics (HAL) rose 2.73% to Rs 4,814 after the Cabinet Committee on Security (CCS) approved the proposal for procurement of 240 aero-engines for Su-30 MKI aircraft of the Indian Air Force (IAF) at a cost of over Rs 26,000 crore.
