Shijil, a 40-year-old man recently returned from the United States to Kerala, died in a road accident while traveling home to Thalassery. The incident occurred near Mukkali, Vadakara when the taxi he was in collided head-on with a truck. The taxi driver also succumbed to his injuries. Further details are awaited.
