4 killed, 9 wounded in shooting at Georgia high school

Two teachers and two students were killed when a shooter opened fire at Apalachee High School in Barrow County, Georgia, on Wednesday morning. Nine others were also injured. The suspect, who was taken into custody alive, was identified as a 14-year-old student. Mark Strassmann has the latest.

California settles lawsuit with Sacramento suburb over affordable housing project

California has reached a settlement with the city of Elk Grove over an affordable housing project. Democratic Gov. Gavin Newsom's administration sued the city last year. They accused it of violating state laws by denying a project to build housing for people who have experienced homelessness. The settlement means Elk Grove, a Sacramento suburb, must identify a new site for affordable housing in an area with good access to educational and health resources.
