East London port gets two new tugs, TNPA wraps up fleet renewal programme

The Port of East London has taken ownership of two new tugboats, marking the end of the Transnet National Ports Authority’s (TNPA’s) R1-billion marine fleet renewal programme, aimed at boosting tugboat availability and, thus, enhancing shipping operations at its facilities. This renewal programme is a key element in Transnet’s ports recovery plan, with the tugs to provide marine services such as the safe navigation of vessels, as well as pilotage and towage, while they should also assist in combatting waterside pollution.

All this so called money coming into the game and some counties are on the brink. The Hundred far from bringing money into the game has in fact cost a shed load to put on putting hundreds of players and staff up in swanky hotels for 5 weeks and is then put into hibernation for 11 months of the year and won't even exist in 4 or 5 years. Can't see how it will bring anyone into the proper formats that will sustain the counties and test cricket

Kross IPO receives 2.56 times subscription on second day of offer

The initial share sale of auto parts manufacturer Kross Ltd received 2.56 times subscription on the second day of bidding on Tuesday.
