Nerves going into games (8 replies)

Anyone else feeling way more nervous going into games this season? Obviously I’m absolutely loving the new blues, how could anyone not. But for the last decade there’s been no expectation of us and now suddenly there is.

I’m absolutely dreading the game Monday. Stupid I know. How is everyone else coping? I’m not used to this feeling ????

Not being negative or moaning btw just interested in how others are feeling.

Tough game for sure but we all know the season is a long one and it's a marathon not a sprint.

Germany fight back for draw with Netherlands after early goal

Germany were stung early, Tijjani Reijnders giving the hosts the lead after 99 seconds. The shellshocked visitors gave up several chances in the opening half an hour but eventually fought back to lead, thanks to two goals in seven minutes from Deniz Undav and new captain Joshua Kimmich before the break. Denzel Dumfries, who missed a golden chance early, levelled things up just after half-time and despite both sides spurning chances -- including a poor Kai Havertz miss from close range -- the score remained level at full-time.
