CM Kejriwal steps out of jail after getting bail in excise policy case

Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal stepped out of Tihar Jail on Friday, hours after the Supreme Court granted him bail in the excise policy case being probed by the CBI. Hundreds of Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) workers and senior party leaders, including Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann and former Delhi deputy chief minister Manish Sisodia, were waiting outside the prison to welcome Kejriwal. Haryana BJP MP claims canter-truck chased his vehicle, tried hitting it

BJP's Rajya Sabha MP Ram Chander Jangra said he had a narrow escape after a canter-truck allegedly chased his SUV from Sirsa district to his home in Meham and tried to hit him. A security personnel accompanying the MP filed a police complaint after the incident took place on Thursday evening. Giving details of the incident, Jangra told PTI on Friday that he was returning from Sirsa district to Meham in Rohtak when his security personnel accompanying him found that there was a traffic jam near Meham's Old Bus stand area. Justin Timberlake is expected to plead guilty to a traffic offense Friday, resolving the criminal case stemming from his June arrest in New York on a drunken driving charge. Prosecutors say the pop star will appear in Sag Harbor Village Court to enter the new plea.
