Comcast Data Breach: Over 237,000 customers affected by ransomware attack

Comcast has confirmed a data breach in February 2024 that affected over 237,000 customers. The breach was due to a ransomware attack on a former debt collection partner. Personal information, including Social Security numbers and addresses, was compromised. Comcast is offering free identity theft protection for 12 months to the affected customers.
