The Andersons reports record third-quarter income

The Andersons has reported third-quarter earnings of $97 million, setting a record for the third quarter earnings for the company. Other metrics for the quarter ending September 30 were also strongly positive.  The company’s renewables division reported best-ever third quarter pretax income of $53 million and pretax income attributable to The Andersons of $27 million on strong operating performance and ethanol margins.
