Now being honest if I had to pick I would sooner have more clubs being owned by people and organisations from somewhere like the US than from countries where businesses practices can often be more opaque (we've seen just how many problems can be caused by that ourselves).

I do wonder though why even lower down the football scale clubs are attracting investment from abroad. I mean I get why Knighthead bought us, the potential is obvious but why are US owners taking over Barrow, Walsall etc? Читать дальше...

Possibly have a point there tbh.

Think a few have seen the Wrexham story and think "we could do that" but even putting the celebrity owners aside Wrexham had potential that a lot of lower league clubs don't. Their catchment area is half of Wales for a start arguably.
