This is one heck of a bad omen.

Japan, UK to hold regular economic security talks

Japan and Britain have agreed to hold regular high-level talks on economic security, Tokyo said Tuesday after the two countries' leaders met on the sidelines of the G20 summit. Ishiba and Starmer agreed to launch the so-called "economic 2+2" talks between their foreign and economic ministers "to further advance bilateral cooperation, in the field of economy including trade and economic security."

Listed firms' earnings likely to fall below forecast

Listed companies posted total net profit of 193 billion baht in the third quarter, down 29% year-on-year and a 24% decrease from three months earlier, with analysts saying earnings for the whole of 2024 are likely to fall below their forecast.
