11/25/2024: Tracking a Pair of Storms This Week

Calmer weather is expected for much of Monday, but clouds will be thickening from the west during the PM hours ahead of a few showers which will develop overnight into Tuesday. Drier, breezy weather in on tap for the second half of Tuesday and most of Wednesday, but odds are increasing for a larger storm to bring rain and mountain snow to the News10 viewing area on Thanksgiving.

SC refuses to examine PIL over voter list duplication

The Supreme Court declined to address a PIL concerning duplicate voter entries, advising the petitioner, a political party, to pursue specific grievances through high courts or representations to relevant authorities. The PIL had alleged widespread duplicate entries, citing the Law Commission's report and Aadhaar linkage amendment, and sought their deletion and an SIT probe to ensure cleaner electoral rolls.
