Jharkhand government takes action for stranded workers in cameroon, FIR's filed against employers

The Jharkhand government initiated wage payments for 47 migrant workers stranded in Cameroon after FIRs were lodged against their employers and middlemen for non-payment and illegal recruitment practices. The workers received partial payment, and efforts are underway to ensure their safe return and resolve outstanding dues with the involvement of the Indian High Commission and Ministry of External Affairs.
