Telecom gear sales under PLI scheme top ₹68,700 cr: DoT secretary Neeraj Mittal

India's telecom PLI scheme has achieved ₹68,700 crore in sales, including ₹13,007 crore in exports, within three and a half years. The scheme has also attracted ₹3,998 crore in investments and created over 25,000 jobs. The Department of Telecommunications is actively working to curb international spam calls and address the demand for 6GHz spectrum.
