The global market for AI-based emotion recognition systems is growing. It was valued at US$34 billion in 2022 and is expected to reach US $62 billion by 2027. These technologies work by making predictions about a person's emotional state from biometric data, such as their heart rate, skin moisture, voice tone, gestures or facial expressions.

Karnataka govt announces annual Rs 250 crore funding for new Coastal Development Board(CDB)

Karnataka's coast is getting a major boost. The government is setting up a new Coastal Development Board. It will receive Rs 250 crore every year. This funding starts in April 2025. The money will improve beaches and tourism. MLAs will be board members. The government is also considering a High Court bench in Mangaluru.
