To the editor: Perrysburg board set up to face crisis

We remain committed to following and contributing to the discussions regarding Perrysburg’s failed levies. We support community members who urge the school board to “learn from the last three levy defeats.” This requires working with voters to find common ground while respecting the community’s voice. While we applaud creative efforts to fund extracurricular activities during this crisis, they are temporary fixes to a Superintendent/​BOE-created problem. The academic funding crisis, which should be the priority, remains unresolved.
