Bajaj Auto December sales decline to 3,23,125 units

Bajaj Auto experienced a slight decline in total sales in December 2024, with figures dropping by 1 per cent compared to the previous year. The company sold 3,23,125 units in December 2024. While domestic two-wheeler sales decreased by 19 per cent, exports of two-wheelers grew by 15 per cent. Commercial vehicle sales increased by 16 per cent.

Kolkata Metro to impose Rs 10 surcharge on special night trains

Kolkata Metro Railway is imposing a Rs 10 surcharge on each ticket for special night services along the New Garia-Dumdum stretch of the Blue Line, starting January 1, 2025. The surcharge will apply to services running after regular hours and was initially planned for December but postponed due to commuter backlash.
