U.S. LNG Exports Surged at the End of 2024

Exports of liquefied natural gas from the United States surged to a new high of 8.5 million metric tons in December, pushing the annual total up by 4.5% from 2023, data from LSEG has shown, as reported by Reuters. The December total, per the data, was only a little lower than the all-time high of 8.6 million metric tons, recorded in December 2023.
