Delhi govt directs hospitals to stay prepared & ensure ICU bed availability amid concerns over HMPV

Delhi government ordered all hospitals to prepare for a surge in respiratory illnesses after detecting Human Metapneumovirus cases in Karnataka. Health Minister Saurabh Bharadwaj instructed hospitals to be equipped and monitor the situation. Health officials will inspect hospitals daily and ensure essentials are available. Data operators must be present at OPD and IPD counters.
