Deadly winter storm sweeps across the country

At least five people have been killed in crashes in Kansas and Missouri as a major winter storm created hazardous conditions on the roads. Indiana, Pennsylvania, Maryland and New Jersey are among nearly a dozen states that have been buried in snow and ice since Sunday.
