My cleaning hack gets the grime out of my jetted tub – there is no need for scrubbing, the secret is a cheap kitchen buy
A CLEANING enthusiast has shared how they get the grime out of their tub.
They revealed an affordable kitchen hack that made the task scrub-free.
Taylor (@taybrett) shared the cleaning hack in a viral TikTok video.
After moving into a new home, she explained that she wanted to clean its bathtub jets before using it.
Though she’d lived in her home for almost a year, she explained that she was reluctant to use her tub.
She started by filling up the tub with hot water.
To avoid scrubbing, she revealed a handy and cheap kitchen buy that worked wonders.
“I use dishwasher pods. I repeat, dishwasher pods, you cannot use laundry pods,” she said.
After a few minutes, the dirt and debris quickly came out of the water jets.
“I turned on the jets and about three minutes later, this is how much came out of the jets. Pretty gross,” she said.
She rinsed off her tub and was pretty satisfied with her work.
Now that she knows the tub is clean, she added that she may be more willing to use it.
Some were shocked that she’d never utilized her jetted tub before.
“You’ve had that for a year and haven’t used it?” asked one commenter.
“A whole year. That tub would of been my BFF since day one,” joked another.
Taylor explained that she had an aversion to the tub due to its cleanliness.
“I’m not a huge bath person in general, and I knew jetted tubs were gross, so I just never used it!” she replied.
“But now I might!”
Her trick inspired others who were more willing to clean their tubs now.
“Thanks for this! Just closed on a house yesterday with the exact tub!” said one commenter.
“I don’t ever use my jet tub, but damn, I just might after this video,” said another.
