"Ye shaheed Modi ji ki wajah se huye," RJD's Tej Pratap Yadav stirs controversy on Poonch attack

RJD leader Tej Pratap Yadav accused Prime Minister Narendra Modi of being responsible for the soldier's martyrdom in the terrorist attack on an Indian Air Force vehicle in Jammu & Kashmir's Poonch on May 4. He also criticized the opposition for causing Hindu-Muslim differences. Former Punjab Chief Minister Charanjit Singh Channi alleged that the Poonch terror attack was "pre-planned" and a stunt to benefit the BJP in the elections. The BJP condemned these statements, calling them disrespectful to the soldiers. The attack in Poonch occurred ahead of the Lok Sabha elections in the Anantnag-Rajouri seat.
