Mum-of-22 Sue Radford sparks concern as she rushes daughter Millie’s son to hospital amid blood clotting disorder fears

MUM-of-22 Sue Radford has revealed her daughter Millie’s son has been rushed to hospital.

The matriarch of 22 Kids and Counting took to the family’s YouTube channel to share the news, explaining that the hospital dash comes amid fears of a blood clotting disorder for Chester.

Millie is the seventh child in the Radford brood and has three children herself: Elodie, nine months, Ophelia, three, and Chester, one.

In the video Sue can be seen waiting in the car with Ophelia while Millie and Chester went into the hospital.

The mum revealed the tot “had some bloods done” a few months ago but was having more done.

“It showed that I think he was anaemic and his blood count was a little bit lower,” Sue continued.

After returning home, Sue said it was likely Chester has “a blood clotting disorder, or something like that.”

In another video, Sue revealed that she thought Millie has been finding having such small age gaps between her children “challenging.”

“I remember when I had mine, I had three under three, oh my goddess,” she said.

Opening up about her struggles with juggling her three youngsters, Millie shared: “I don’t think anything could have actually prepared me for this. It’s really not great.”

Baby Elodie was also rushed to hospital not long after being born, after experiencing breathing difficulties.

The mum-of-three shared: “I rang 111 first just to say that Elodie got worse and they recommended that we bought her straight up to A&E and that’s where we had the swab done.”

It was confirmed that Elodie was suffering from RSV – respiratory syncytial virus – a virus that can lead to pneumonia.

Whilst Elodie was given oxygen, mum-of-22 Sue stepped up and took Chester and Ophelia home.

She explained: “When you know that your kids need you, you just have to drop everything and go and be with them. When they’re going through something like that, they really need your support.”

Trying to be as strong as possible, Millie said: “You can’t sit around and feel emotional all day because you’ve got a little one’s childhood in your hands. You kind of have to pull yourself together.”

In the comment section of the family’s vlog many people shared their well wishes for little Chester.

One said: “Hope Chester’s blood results come back ok.”

A second chimed in: “I hope Chester is doing ok, lovely family.”

“Always scary waiting for blood results, sending love,” another wrote.
