Plank Road Bridge closure announced in New Scotland

NEW SCOTLAND, N.Y. (NEWS10) -- The upcoming closure of a portion of Plank Road Bridge in New Scotland has been announced by the Albany County Department of Public Works. The bridge will be closed between Terrytown Road and Lower Flatrock Road starting on May 13 at noon.

The closure will be in place until further notice while crews work to replace the bridge deck. No thru traffic will be allowed while work is underway, including emergency vehicles.

Drivers can use the established detour on State Route 32. Anyone with questions regarding the closure is asked to contact the Albany County DPW at (518)765-2055.
