Burnley agree multi-year partnership ahead of the new season

Burnley have two games left to save their Premier League status, and they have to win them both to stand any chance of staying up.

Lose to Tottenham Hotspur at the weekend and they will be relegated, making their final day fixture at home to Nottingham Forest incidental.

Regardless of whether they’re playing their football in the 2024/25 season in the Premier League or the Championship, the club have already secured a multi-year partnership with kit supplier, Castore.

Burnley to wear Castore from 2024/25

The manufacturers hit the headlines recently over the shirts that Aston Villa wore, with players complaining about the technical aspects of the shirts and the ‘wet look’ that was produced.

Villa subsequently decided to move away from Castore, following Newcastle’s decision to do likewise.

Nevertheless, Burnley chairman, Alan Pace, was delighted with the arrangement.

“I’m thrilled to team up with Castore as our new Official Technical Partner in a multi-year deal,” he was quoted as saying by the official Burnley website.

“As organisations we have similar values, the desire to push boundaries, a passion for innovation and a mission to make athletes better. Castore’s philosophy of ‘Better Never Stops’ is perfectly aligned with our vision as a forever forward-thinking football club.”

Castore for their part were equally happy with the deal.

“The partnership to become Burnley’s Official Technical Partner marks our commitment to football, and in particular the North West,” Castore’s Chief Sports Marketing Officer, Sam Lucas added.

“We’re looking forward to working with the club and players to continue to drive innovation, and strive for excellence, both on and off the pitch”.
