'A few more cute faces': OKC Zoo announces new addition to animal family

OKLAHOMA CITY (KFOR) - The Oklahoma City Zoo and Botanical Garden has revealed which mama is expecting a litter of cubs in May.

The OKC Zoo posted a video on Wednesday of a mystery ultrasound asking the public to guess whose baby it might be.

On Friday, the Zoo announced their lioness, Dunia, is expecting her second litter of lion cubs in May.

"Stay tuned to our social media channels for fun CUB-dates!" said the Zoo

According to the Zoo, lions have a gestation period, or pregnancy period, of around 108 days or a little over three months. The Zoo houses a pride of seven lions including female lions Dunia, Moto, Neema, Zahara and Makena and males Huey and Mshango.

"We are excited to be expanding our lion pride by a few more cute faces."
