PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) — The warmest weekend of the year is nearly here, along with events to keep you, family and friends entertained.
Portland Winterhawks vs. Moose Jaw Warriors
When: Friday, May 10 and Saturday, May 11 at 7 p.m.
Where: Veterans Memorial Coliseum, 300 N Ramsay Way, Portland, OR 97227
Cheer on the Portland Winterhawks as they compete against the Moose Jaw Warriors in the Western Hockey League championship series. If you can’t watch the games live, they will also air on Portland's CW.
St. Johns Bizarre and Parade
When: Saturday, May 11 from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.
Where: N Lombard St. and N Philadelphia Ave., Portland, OR 97203
This North Portland neighborhood is hosting its 15th annual bizarre and parade. Attendees will gather in downtown St. John’s for live music, food vendors, handmade crafts and even a puppet show.
Doggie Dash
When: Saturday, May 11 from 7:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Where: 98 SW Naito Pkwy, Portland, OR 97204
The Oregon Humane Society’s Doggie Dash invites pets and their owners for a fun stroll along the Willamette River. OHS’ signature event serves as a fundraiser for the organization’s animal services and programs. Register online.
Baker's Dozen Coffee Beer & Doughnut Fest
When: Saturday, May 11 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Where: Culmination Brewing, 2117 NE Oregon St, Portland, OR 97232
Hosted by Culmination Brewing, the Bakers Dozen Coffee Beer & Doughnut Fest brings some of the city’s best brewers and bakeries together. The $40 ticket includes a souvenir glass and 13 samples of coffee beer and donuts
Unique Markets
When: Saturday, May 11 and Sunday, May 12 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Where: Veterans Memorial Coliseum, 300 N Ramsay Way, Portland, OR 97227
More than 125 designers and artists will offer their products at this spring event hosted by Unique Markets. General admission tickets cost about $12, and cover a limited-edition tote bag, free drinks, a mini arcade and more.
Forest Therapy
When: Sunday, May 12 from 10 a.m. – 11:45 a.m.
Where: Bird Alliance of Oregon, 5151 NW Cornell Road, Portland, OR 97210
According to the Bird Alliance of Oregon, forest therapy is “the practice of spending time in the forest for the purpose of enhancing one’s health, wellness, and happiness.” In honor of Mother’s Day, one of the organization-certified nature and forest therapy guides will lead a walk through Mother Nature. Babes Benedict

The Rose City’s funniest female comics will perform stand-up for Helium Comedy Club’s Babes Benedict. The women-only show will feature Imani Denae, Andrea Menchaca and Erica Figueroa, among other talent. Tickets start at $10.
