ALBANY, N.Y. (NEWS10)-- Albany County Executive Daniel McCoy will unveil a new business partnership with Catholic Charities to address the fentanyl crisis on Friday, May 10 at 10 a.m. The partnership will make Narcan and fentanyl test strips readily available to the county.

The partnership plans to make opioid overdose treatments as accessible as AED or first aid kits, giving people the power to intervene when someone is experiencing an overdose. Held at the Capital Region Chamber of Commerce, McCoy and representatives from the county's Department of Health and Mental Health, Catholic Charities, New York State Public Health Association, and more will announce the new business venture.
