Pedestrian critical after being struck by vehicle in northeast Columbus
COLUMBUS, Ohio (WCMH) – One person has been hospitalized after being struck by a car in northeast Columbus Friday morning.
Columbus police reported that one person is in critical condition after being struck by a vehicle at around 10:30 a.m. The incident occurred near the intersection of East 17th Avenue and Hamilton Avenue in South Linden.
The victim was taken to Grant Medical Center and emergency crews closed the area of East 17th Avenue.
Police did not specify if the driver of the vehicle remained at the scene or on any possible circumstances leading to the collision.
