Albany man indicted for child sex abuse image crimes

The U.S. Attorney's Office announced that an Albany man has been indicted on child sex abuse image charges

ALBANY, N.Y. (NEWS10) -- The U.S. Attorney's Office announced that an Albany man has been indicted for child sex abuse image crimes. Stephen Brisee, also known as Sage Brisee, 30, is accused of receiving, possessing and distributing images depicting adults sexually abusing girls as young as infants.

Brisee faces 15 to 40 years in prison, a fine of up to $250,000 and a post-release term of supervision of five years and up to life if he is convicted of all the charges. He may also be ordered to pay restitution to the victims and forfeit the devices used in the alleged crimes.

Brisee has been ordered to be detained pending his trial. The case is being investigated by Homeland Security Investigations.
