I’m Britain’s most inked mum & my man does all my tattoos, when he got ill I was terrified he’d never finish my body art

A WOMAN dubbed ‘Britain’s most tattooed mum’ has revealed that when her partner became ill, she feared about the future of her tattoo addiction.

Melissa Sloan, 46, has over 800 tattoos covering her entire body and has said that she has been banned from pubs and called “Crayola” on the school run.

However, this has not stopped her, and the mum-of-seven gets fresh inkings on her body around three times a week.

Melissa, who is from Wales, has most of her tattoos done at home by her partner Luke, as she has been banned from local tattoo parlours, who say she has taken it “too far”.

Last year, Luke suffered a health scare and was rushed to hospital, with Melissa fearing the worst.

The tattoo addict told The Daily Star that she would be in a “right mess” if her partner had died, as she would have had no one to do her tattoos for her.

She said: “He’s still with me – God bless him. I don’t know what I would do without him, I really wouldn’t know what to do.

“I’d have no tattoos done then if he went, would I!

“If I can’t get my tattoos done then I’d be a right mess.

“He’s okay now, he had heart failure and only half his heart is working and his lungs have packed up on him.”

Thankfully, Luke is now on the mend, and Melissa revealed that during his illness, she found a relationship with Jesus.

As the mum struggled with the thought of losing her partner, she decided to pray for her first time.

She said: “When Luke was in hospital on his last legs, when he had hours to live, I was there by his side.

He was given everything, he just had to pull through. I prayed that night in the room and I never prayed before and I said ‘don’t let him die for the kids’.

“And a miracle happened, he pulled through and that’s when I think I started to believe in Jesus.”

Despite her new-found faith, Melissa said she has been thrown out of church due to her tattoos and loud singing.

However, this has not affected her faith, and she continues to thank Jesus for keeping her partner alive.

Melissa has three layers of tattoos on her body, and has said that she has had multiple infections from her inkings – and some of her skin has even fallen off.

Although Luke does most of her inkings, Melissa also has her own tattoo gun, which she bought from Amazon, and takes with her everywhere she goes.

She has also let her primary-school children loose with the tattoo gun, and the kids have given her new inkings on her back.
