The Heartstopper star’s eviction saw fans complain to broadcasting watchdog Ofcom in their droves after they slammed his cruel exit.
However, Bradley has now confessed that his eviction plan was supposed to be entirely different and that show producers had to scramble after a malfunction on set.
In the scene, as the remaining housemates were visited by family and friends, Bradley instead was met with show host AJ Odudu who told him that he was to leave the house.
He was then allowed to wave off his housemates but it was then that things started to go awry.
Speaking to The Sun whilst at the 2024 BAFTA TV Awards, Bradley said: “The producers told me I had a minute to say goodbye.
“I was meant to go out of the main front door to an empty crowd but the door got jammed.
“I was stood there for six minutes thinking the producers had changed their mind and didn’t want me to to go.”
Bradley then admitted he was called back to the show’s diary room before making a swift exit out of the back door amid the technical blunder.
He added: “Then I went out of the diary room door and it was exactly as I left there that I realised I was in a TV set.”
Furthermore, the star opened up on his close pal and co-star Ekin-Su after she was left shunning the show over fears of how she was portrayed.
The Love Island icon faced backlash from the public after her much-hyped show appearance seemingly fell flat.
Bradley backed his pal and admitted that she was doing well despite taking a back seat in the weeks that followed her appearance.
He said: ” I was in Belfast with her and Louis [Walsh] recently.
“She is doing really well but it has been hard. I haven’t watched it so I’m not sure how she has been perceived but she is doing better and she is good.”
Bradley recently celebrated getting engaged to partner Scott Jonhstone during a whirlwind Italy trip.
The Netflix star, 22, shared a snap of the romance proposal on Instagram in a dreamy mountain setting.
