It’s not too late to book cheap beach holidays over the May half-term – with deals from £172pp
THE May half-term is fast approaching, but it’s not too late to book a beach getaway that won’t cost a fortune.
With many sales happening now, we’ve decided to round up the cheapest deals we could spot from some of the biggest travel companies.
The best deals come from holiday giants like TUI, Jet2holidays, loveholidays and On the Beach.
Destination-wise, we’ve found Turkey, Bulgaria and Spain to be the best countries to bag a cheap holiday this half-term.
The half-term should run from May 27 to May 31, with the late May bank holiday also on May 27.
All the deals we’ve found will depart and return between May 25 and June 1.
We’ve found deals for all types of holidays, from shorter stays of three, four and five nights to week-long stays.
As you’ll be arriving towards the end of the month, most of these destinations will already benefit from early summer weather.
So you can expect sunny days, virtually no chance of rain, and temperatures reaching highs of 25C (and maybe even higher).
The best holidays we’ve found should satisfy everyone, ranging from self-catering and B&B to half-board and all-inclusive.

Research by Kayak revealed that holiday prices increase as much as £400 during the school holidays.
The price increase during school holidays is down to supply and demand, as families hope to jet off abroad and are willing to pay the higher prices.
Although we’ve mentioned when the half-term dates should be, double-check with the school or local council before booking, as term dates may vary depending on where you live.
All prices are based on two adults and two kids travelling together and sharing accommodation.
