Shoppers can now save £12 on this Woven Reed Screen[/caption]

The Woods Good 200cm Woven Reed Screening was originally priced at £29.99 but is now selling for just £17.99.

Thanks to Wilko’s major 40 per cent discount, customers can go super cheap on the ideal fence alternative this summer.

Standing at 6.5ft tall and stretching 13.1ft in length, this product is perfect if you do not have the space or resources to build a full fence.

Made of natural reed cane and perfect for limited space, it’s an absolute no-brainer for those looking to add a bit of privacy to their home.

As per the product description on Wilko’s website, the woven reed screening is “brilliant for those who like to entertain or chill out in their garden”.

It can also be transported or stored easily once you have finished using it, meaning you don’t just have to use it in your garden.

Wilko are also selling the smaller sized woven reed screening (3.2ft) for £11.69 if you are on the lookout for something a bit cheaper.

The big reveal was made by an eagle-eyed member of the Extreme Couponing and Bargains UK group on Facebook, much to the delight of fellow shoppers.

But if you’re thinking of getting one then you’ll have to be quick, with the fence listed as “in demand” on Wilko’s website.

However, The Range are also selling the same product for the same price, having slashed their prices by 40 per cent.

The retail company even has the 150cm (4.9ft) and 100cm (3.2ft) options in stock.

The 4.9ft woven reed screen has been reduced from £19.99 to £13.99, saving you £6, while the smaller size is now £11.69 instead of £12.99.

Another item everyone seems to be rushing to pick up are the popular hot air balloon outdoor lights.

Several chains have sold them in recent weeks, for various different prices, and they sell out pretty quickly every time.

And in case you missed it, Wilko has launched a new service that’s perfect for DIY fans and will no doubt rival big chains like IKEA.

The bargain chain has unveiled its first-ever kitchen collection, featuring a selection of affordable designs you can install yourself.

How to compare prices to get the best deal

JUST because something is on offer, or is part of a sale, it doesn't mean it's always a good deal.

There are plenty of comparison websites out there that’ll check prices for you – so don’t be left paying more than you have to.

Most of them work by comparing the prices across hundreds of retailers.

Here are some that we recommend:

  • Google Shopping is a tool that lets users search for and compare prices for products across the web. Simply type in keywords, or a product number, to bring up search results.
  • Price Spy logs the history of how much something costs from over 3,000 different retailers, including Argos, Amazon, eBay and the supermarkets. Once you select an individual product you can quickly compare which stores have the best price and which have it in stock.
  • Idealo is another website that lets you compare prices between retailers. All shoppers need to do is search for the item they need and the website will rank them from the cheapest to the most expensive one.
  • CamelCamelCamel only works on goods being sold on Amazon. To use it, type in the URL of the product you want to check the price of.
