She is currently meeting with writers to figure out how things will play out.

Jess told the Write On podcast: “There are a couple of clues at the end of the new season which might give people some idea of where we’re headed in the next couple of seasons, so perhaps they can pick over that.

“At the moment we are writing for series four in the writer’s room, and we’re chugging along.”

The new series of the Netflix show will follow the romance between Nicola Coughlan’s Penelope Featherington and Luke Newton’s Colin Bridgerton.

The first part will be available to stream on Thursday, with the second following on June 13.

REGE IN FASS LANE

IT’S been four years since he left the world hot under the collar in Bridgerton, but it’s fair to say Rege Jean Page’s career has cooled since then.

So it’s good to see him back filming, and back in Britain, with upcoming spy thriller, Black Bag.

Rege, who shot to fame as the dashing Duke of Hastings opposite Phoebe Dynevor in the Netflix period epic, is certainly in good company with the new production.

He’s joined by fellow hunk Michael Fassbender on the cast, and both were spotted shooting scenes on the banks of the Thames in frosty Central London.

Not surprisingly he was wrapping up warm, not stripping off like his standout scenes in Bridgerton.

COMEDIAN Jason Manford will be guest host of Have I Got News For You for the first time this week.

He will be joined by comic Glenn Moore and MP Jess Phillips this Friday on BBC One.

He said: “Really chuffed to be hosting this legendary show I used to watch with my dad.”

STEVEN’S DOCTOR DREAMS

DOCTOR Who has taken over the life of show writer Steven Moffatt.

So much so that even when he isn’t hired to pen new episodes, he’s conjuring up ideas for the sci-fi series to keep himself entertained in his day-to-day life.

He revealed: “I’m always trying to think of new stories, but not in a burning way, like ‘I must run to my computer and write it now’, not at all. Part of a writer’s job is just daydreaming.

“Because the show has been such a big part of my life, sometimes I just daydream about Doctor Who stories – they are just something to entertain me on a Tube ride.

“There’s only so much of Doctor Who you can write – though I seem to be trying to test that theory!”
