Travis Kelce and Gigi Hadid Had the Best Time at the Eras Tour

Bradley Cooper was also there, having a good enough time.

It was couples night at the Eras Tour on Sunday. Travis Kelce flew out to see Taylor Swift perform in Paris and brought couple friends Gigi Hadid and Bradley Cooper along with him. It’s sort of like a double date in which one person talks the whole time but the other three people are really loving it. At least that’s what it seemed like in a video captured by fans showing Kelce, Hadid, and Cooper dancing to “But Daddy I Love Him” and “So High School.”

I might have been generous to include Cooper in the “really loving it” category. He was having a decent time clapping offbeat and swaying to music he’s probably only ever heard when his girlfriend is playing it in a different room. Speaking of Hadid, she was having a blast. Unlike Lana Del Rey, this girlie definitely knows the names of all 31 Tortured Poets Department tracks. Also in their section was Swift’s mom, according to these blurry photos from a Swift stan account. Happy Mother’s Day to her!

But this show was really about Kelce, who is a walking fan-fiction character at this point. The man flew to Paris to watch his pop-star girlfriend sing a song about him, alongside a world-famous model and her actor-director boyfriend. Throw a dart at the One Direction tag on AO3 and you’ll probably land on this exact plot. The football star is clearly loving it, too. He sang along, danced, and later in the show he tossed up the heart hands.

This was a special concert for Kelce and Swift, as it was her 87th Eras Tour show. (That’s Kelce’s jersey number.) As such, Swift couldn’t resist tossing in a bunch of Easter eggs for her man. She mentioned that it was the 87th show during her surprise song set, then launched into a mashup of “The Alchemy” and “Treacherous.” For her second surprise song, she mashed up “Begin Again” and “Paris.” All four songs are about being so in love with your newish guy that you might explode. She also wore Chiefs colors for the 1989 set, blew a kiss in Kelce’s direction during “So High School,” and did that thing where she changes the line in “Karma” so that it goes “Karma is the guy on the Chiefs coming straight home to me.”

Paris really is the city of love! We can only hope that this outing inspires Hadid and Cooper to start referencing each other in their work. Maybe she could embroider Leonard Bernstein onto one of her cashmere sweaters. Or he could make a movie about a beautiful woman who loves pasta.
