TWICE's Dahyun in Talks to Star in Remake of Taiwanese Hit Film 'You Are the Apple of My Eye'!

Dahyun is continuing to venture into acting!

The 25-year-old member of K-pop girl group TWICE is in talks to play the female lead role in the Korean remake of the 2011 Taiwanese hit film You Are the Apple of My Eye.

The original film, directed by Giddens Ko and released in Korea in 2012, follows the story of a school troublemaker, Ko Ching-teng, and an honor student, Shen Chia-yi, whose relationship evolves from classmates to something more intimate over time, via Allkpop.

This casting news comes after it was revealed Dahyun will appear in the independent feature film Sprint, where she will star alongside Ha Seok-jin and Lee Sin-young as an athlete.

Regarding the reports, her agency JYP Entertainment said: “Dahyun has received an offer for the Korean adaptation of ‘You Are the Apple of My Eye’ and is currently reviewing it.”
