11th Annual Amanda Hichkad CCA Celebration walk Saturday at John Carroll School. All proceeds benefit the Cancer LifeNet program at the Kauffman Cancer Center at Upper Chesapeake Medical Center which provides free services to all Harford County residents who have a cancer diagnosis. According to the UM Upper Chesapeake Health Foundation, raised more than $95,000 (and counting!) for Cancer LifeNet on May 11, bringing the cumulative total raised by the walk to more than $1.2 million dollars over the past 11 years. More than 400 members of the community participated in the walk and more than 600 of donors contributed in support of the walk and Cancer LifeNet in 2024.
