A TEEN who was given £10,000 by Mr Beast now makes £25,000 a month – saying the cash sum changed his life.
Tom Gardiner, 18, from Aberdare in south Wales, scooped the prize after he was set a series of challenges by the YouTube star.
The youngster started streaming clips of himself playing video games in 2017.
One day in March 2021, Tom was streaming Minecraft when Mr Beast “jumped in randomly” and donated £700.
Mr Beast, who has 250million YouTube subscribers, then gave Tom another £2,000 to create a portal on Minecraft.
Gaming whizz Tom completed a string of challenges set by Mr Beast – who donated a total of £10,000.
The YouTube star sent Tom the money as part of a video where he gave streamers huge donations and recorded their reactions.
Mr Beast’s video featuring Tom has been watched 70million times on YouTube.
Tom told the BBC: “Before then, it was pocket money, something to do on the side.
“MrBeast’s connection didn’t give me much exposure, but it gave me the boost – and it snowballed from there.
“The whole thing really inspired me to knuckle down and work hard to try and become a YouTuber full-time.”
Tom now earns £25,000 a month streaming and has treated his family to a holiday in Florida.
The teen has also bought himself a car – plus a hot tub for the family home.

Who is Mr Beast?
Jimmy Donaldson, better known as MrBeast, was born in Wichita, Kansas on May 7, 1998.
He first joined YouTube originally uploading videos of video game playthroughs and net worth estimates of fellow YouTubers.
In January 2017, he uploaded a video of him counting to 100,000, which took a total of 40 hours.
After going viral, he joined a competition from PewDiePie to become the most-subscribed channel on YouTube.
He launched a virtual restaurant in 2020, MrBeast Burger.
Various restaurants are able to purchase franchise rights to Beast Burger, and customers can order the burgers via online delivery services.
MrBeast has also launched his own charity, Beast Philanthropy. He joined forces with NASA engineer Mark Rober to raise money for millions of trees to be planted, known as Team Trees.
In June 2022, MrBeast became one of the few content creators to surpass 100million subscribers on YouTube.
As of September 2023, he has a whopping 181 million people subscribing to his channel.
He joined YouTube back in February 2012, according to his account.
Since going viral in 2017, MrBeast has given millions of dollars to various viewers.
He has donated over 100 cars, given away a private island and over 100 PS4s, and he even gave away $1 million in one video.
MrBeast has a net worth of $110 million.
As a result of brand deals and video views, the YouTuber can give away large sums of money without affecting his net worth.
Known as “YouTube’s biggest philanthropist,” MrBeast began his donations when he started getting sponsorships from companies, such as Quid.
He started giving money away to whoever he could: the homeless, Twitch streamers, family, friends, and followers.
At one point, he walked around his city handing out $1,000 to multiple homeless people in the area.
For his 26th birthday, MrBeast announced on May 7, 2024, that he would be giving away 26 Tesla vehicles to his followers.
As his popularity grows, so does the amount of money MrBeast gives away.
